Danel Olson
Shirley Jackson Award and World Fantasy Award winner
and two-time Bram Stoker Award finalist, Danel Olson,
Ph.D., is the founder and editor of a six-volume, original
fiction print series Exotic Gothic. In 2014-15, the British
Library distributed copies to attendees during their popular
exhibition Terror and Wonder: The Gothic
. He has also
edited three collections of essays on horror cinema. His most
recent project is a collection of Patrick McGrath’s short
fiction, with new wood engravings from Harry Brockway
and an introduction by Joyce Carol Oates. Dr. Olson’s
interviews are a regular feature of the annual Weird Fiction
