Omar Rayyan
Omar Rayyan is an award-winning fantasy artist/illustrator who lives and works on Martha’s Vineyard. The bucolic surroundings compliment and help inspire his Old World aesthetic toward painting. He looks to the past for inspiration, especially the great oil painters of the Northern Renaissance and the Romantic and Symbolist painters of the 19th century. In the past he was known for his illustration work geared toward children's and young adult magazines and books. He is currently doing more personal work for galleries and collectors, paintings of whim and fantasy made to indulge his own tastes and humors.
