For the last twenty-three years Simon Avery’s work has been published in a variety of magazines and anthologies, including Black Static, Crimewave, The Best British Mysteries 4, Terror Tales of Yorkshire, Something Remains, Occult Detective Quarterly and The Year’s Dark Fantasy and Horror . His World Fantasy Award-nominated novella, The Teardrop Method, was published by TTA Press in 2017. He has also been nominated for the Crime Writers Association’s Dagger and British Fantasy Award.
